Pioneering C3P3 tools for bioproduction
The expression yields or titers of recombinant proteins and viruses by the standard expression systems remain a major hurdle in the biologics R&D and production pipeline. Based on its C3P3 technology, Eukarÿs develops fundamentally new tools to boost the bioproduction performances in mammalian cells.
The bioproduction tools developed by Eukarÿs consist of mammalian cell lines that stably express the C3P3 enzyme only (CHO-K1 cells) or together with specific plasmids optimized (HEK-293 or BHK-21 cells).
These artificial expression systems are suitable for production of high yields of recombinant proteins or recombinant viruses, respectively.
The Pros of C3P3 expression system:

- Increase performances: ~5 fold greater yields of recombinant proteins by transient transfection – up to 100-fold greater titers of recombinant RNA orthoreoviruses in comparison to existing technologies
